SUCCESSFUL GOSPEL MEETING?
It
depends on attitude. Are we looking forward to it? Do we realize its
potential for good? Are we excited about the cause of Christ?
It
depends on our attendance. Some meetings fail because 50% of the members
do not attend any service except Sunday and Wednesday. Will you clear your
schedule so you can be present for every service?
It
depends on our invitations. Regardless of all the advertising through
printed announcements, newspapers, etc., visitors will usually attend only if
personally invited by a Christian friend. How many do you plan to invite?
It
depends on our friendliness. Do your friends feel welcome and wanted at
our services? How many of us make a special effort to greet visitors and invite
them back?
It
depends on our prayers. Are we praying for the preacher? Those who need
to respond?
It
depends on our encouragement. A word of love and encouragement to one
who needs to respond to heaven's invitation means so much.
Yes,
a successful gospel meeting depends on us! Let's do our part!

WHAT I CAN DO FOR OUR GOSPEL
MEETING
1.
I
can come early and attend every service.
2.
I
can use my telephone and invite others.
3.
I
can sit near the front, thereby conveying to others a heightened degree of
interest in the worship.
4.
I
can bring a visitor with me.
5.
I
can welcome the visitors and invite them to come again.
6.
I
can assist the song leader by helping him sing every song in spirit and in
truth.
7.
I
can pray for and encourage lost souls to obey the gospel.
8.
I
can encourage my brethren who are "out of duty" to come and repent.
9.
I
can offer my assistance in any thing that is needed to be done.
