Success
To
have laughed often and loved much.
To
have won the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of little
children.
To
have withstood the betrayal of false friends and the approbation of
honest critics.
To
look an old dog in the eye and know that he likes you just ‘cause you
like him.
To
have looked for beauty where they said there was none and you found it.
To
have looked for the best in people instead of for the worst.
To
leave the world a little better place than when you arrived here.
And
to know someone’s life was made a little easier just because you were
there when they needed you.

I
wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell
phones?
What
if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What
if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What
if we flipped through it several times a day?
What
if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What
if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What
if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What
if we used it as we traveled?
What
if we used it in case of an emergency?
This
is something to make you go…hmm…where is my Bible?
Oh,
and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't ever have to worry
about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill!
And
no dropped calls either!
Makes
you stop & think, "Where are my priorities?"

Quote From Somewhere
“Christ
calls us to: Stop whining, stop pitying ourself, quit talking about what
we would do if our situation was different.”
