If
a person removes the points off the "arrows" of the truth
and "dulls" the sword of the Spirit it hinders victory in
the war with Satan, weakens the effort against those who do not
respect the truth, restrains the ability of the truth to convict and
convert those who need to respond to the gospel message. |
|
It
is vital to free the minds and hearts of people from the bondage of
erroneous beliefs, the servitude of sin, mistaken ideas, and remove
compromise with those who have no convictions. |
|
If
everyone who loves the Lord Jesus Christ, and desire the salvation
of the lost, would unite their energies for the truth, submit to the
authority of Jesus Christ, respect the word of God, no one could
predict how quickly the world could be brought to salvation in
Christ Jesus. |
|
When
a people create their own god, with the characteristics they want in
their god, then they invent their own worship methods and life
styles, and a system of religion to satisfy themselves…sometimes
not realizing that is a from of idolatry. |
|
The
doctrine (teaching) of Jesus Christ, the message of the Holy Spirit
through the apostles and prophets of the First Century was
sufficient to convert thousands to salvation in Christ. The same
message can do the same thing now. The "power" to convert
is still resident within the word of God. |
|
The
all-sufficient New Testament can destroy false incorrect beliefs,
heal the offended, unite believers in Christ, convert the world and
eliminate all forms of human invented religions of the world if the
teachers of it would hold faithfully to it. |
|
The
pure New Testament contains the power to console the unhappy, cheer
the depressed, strengthen the spiritually weak, convict and convert
the transgressor, purify the heart of the ungodly, reconcile the
world to God, and restore all people to a morally stable world.
